[Phpgroupware-users] sitemgr problems

It seems to me that I am pointing out some specific sitemgr behaviors which
indicate the app is refusing me a variety of access though I have admin
access to everything and used that to identify myself as having admin access
over all webs. Something appears to be broken.  I would like to find out why
the app is behaving in the way it is behaving. However, I really have no more
info on how sitemgr-link and sitemgr-site work than when I started.  The
comment, "sitemgr-link links to sitemgr sites - to allow viewing. " is not
clear..... does this mean you can't view the site without sitemgr-link, and
if this is the case how does one view the site.....  I was under the
impression that you could view the site via the URL..... do you have to be
logged into phpgw to view a sitemgr managed web site? You have indicated that
we shouldn't discuss the htaccess issue, though this is a configuration
parameter in the config.inc.php file and the htaccess file I believe
instructs a user to copy it to .htaccess.  If this is what's causing the
issues I am having why shouldn't it be addressed?

 I will delete everything and try to start from scratch with the  "how to"
