Just a silly question : did you put the alias of your website
(sitemgr-site) in your apache config accordingly to the one you set up
in the configuration of your site ??

whoa little red flag.

?if that kinda thing is going to become necessary... that removes most
hosted sites without what I understand to be root access, I would have
thought.

Sorry, but when people like you are not able to *think*, then it could be better to shut up.

When I say this, it's clear that you are not obliged to use the alias if it's under you're root server in a special dir.

/me silly :

ln -s /var/www/html/phpgroupware/sitemgr/sitemgr-site /var/www/html/portail1

then in navigator (Hoping that your apache server is able to follow symlink, if not, I hope that you are able to find the solution yourself)
point to :
http://mysyte.org/portail1

But for this working you need to set up the config accordingly to all the path (path to header.inc.php) AND when asked for the site URL put http://mysyte.org/portail1 ...

So if you want more site, just put more symlink portail2, ...
with the right configuration, and voila ...

Caeies, zen ...
