i think its one of its biggest advantages...look at emule and all the
0-upload-mods. just because every script-kiddie can code in c. (all IMHO)
but only a "few good men" are willing to learn a new programming
language (which is proven to be faster and more secure). (and the more
i learn about ocaml the more i like it)

well...ok but dont call it recode. just write another p2p-client in a
language of your choice. thats what mldonkey (the original programmer)
did in the first place.

i dont think so. this is something like a bittorrent coder asking the
emule-folks to swich over just for the programming language...

PS: what about COBOL as the language of choice?
