I'm not alienated. I simply needed to know whether or not AFFS actually
existed - an association cannot exist in any sense without at least 2
members (yes I've had legal advise, albeit informally) - so that I could
properly consider to whom I should address my interest to.

UKFSN, as you have already pointed out several times, donated £1000 to
AFFS specifically to run a Free Software grants programme. I do not know
whether any other donations given were specifically for that purpose or
not but I do know that only one grant, for £250, was ever listed on the
website as having been awarded.

I've been in discussions with some other people who are long term Free
Software advocates and activists in the UK about the possibility of
forming an organisation (preferably a registered charity) to disburse
UKFSN's profits as I still want to keep that activity at arms length
from myself and I know from the comments I have received over the years
that there are a fair number of people who would like to donate to such.

I would like for the remains of the money UKFSN donated to AFFS to be
passed on to such an organisation rather than FSFE as the FSFE do
nothing which would satisfy the purpose for which that money was raised
and donated.
