Thank you, John, for sharing your workflow.  Sounds interesting and,
although it doesn't seem to fit into my current needs, I'll definitely
have a look at zotero.  I have never hear of it before, but seems to be
quite popular for reference management.  My use-case is very modest, I
just want to manage my (few hundreds of) physical books, that's why I was
looking for an Emacs based solution.
