[lwip-members] RFC: ports

Hi
what do you think of making a new CVS module for ports and netif drivers
of lwIP's size over 50% is the arch subdir and with one patch pending on 
savannah
for coldfire.It's good to have porters have access to each others code but not
at the expense of crowding the core.
The maintainers would have write acces to that module lessening our burden of
changing netif drivers or headers or whatever when something relevant changes 
in the core
(i.e. etharp change, recent bcopy-memcpy etc).They're maintainres after all and 
probably
the testers for a specific paltform.

I hope we can reach an agreement on this :)
Leon if you agree but don't have time to do it I can give it a shot.
