Yeah.  Given past experience, I'd expect to be lectured on how important it
is that the university sells all the work it can commercially.  I can't say
whether that is what happens, as I've not been to it.

Big, but not very big, I'd say.  What is the policy standing of free
software developed there, though?  If the university decides that they wish
to close off software developed by its staff or students, can they?  In the
worst cases of that sort, the people distributing works developed at a uni
under free licences can be sued for loss of earnings when they gave away
something that didn't belong to them.  This was a problem raised on the
address@hidden mailing list not so long ago.  I don't remember all
of the discussion, though.
