Ooooohhhh, now you tell us you're using DVD+R!

Repeat after me ...
DVD+R is _not_ DVD-R.
DVD+R is _not_ DVD-R.
DVD+R is _not_ DVD-R.  ;->

DVD+R can_not_ be recorded byte-by-byte like DVD-R -- very, very long
and involved story.

Get DVD-R media and get back to us.  ;->
