Brian,

I believe that there is a bug in the backup assistant. The backup is
made. But the window does not finish. It locks up for a while, then
displays at a certain step. But the backup would have been created by
then. Cancelling this window is the only way to get out of it. The
backup.tar.gz that would have been created should show the files that
were backed up. Patches to fix this are welcome.
