But let me again ask my question from the beginning:

I would love to get something like to be pointed cookbook for installation, 
if existent. If not, every hint that helps how to get started with the 
installation (on a non debian system btw. (it's not my fault btw.)) is 
greatly appreciated.

And to get into the databases: postgres or mysql? How do I initialize them?
