Follow-up Comment #49, bug #59546 (project octave): The buildbots seem to be having trouble building the tarball after this change: http://buildbot.octave.org:8010/#/builders/14/builds/1055/steps/7/logs/stdio > make[3]: *** No rule to make target 'doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qhc', needed by 'distdir-am'. Stop. There are a lot of blocks like the following in the logs: GEN doc/interpreter/interpderiv1.eps warning: latex_renderer: unable to compile "?" warning: called from axes at line 107 column 8 newplot at line 161 column 10 plot at line 230 column 9 geometryimages at line 108 column 5 Is it possible that creating the plots for the manual somehow fails if there is no complete latex toolchain installed on the builder? I'd assume that having a complete latex toolchain shouldn't be necessary because we don't use the LaTeX renderer for those plots anyway. Anyway, would it be possible to only warn if the renderer is actually set to "latex" and skip the toolchain check entirely otherwise? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?59546> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
