Perfect ;-)! 

Then we have our first recipe to build a quad and identify it. 

I look forward to the first visual example of all these calculations for one
quad.

After that, you can visualize all the quads that found over the healpixes of
the Gaia sub-catalog (covering that image). Just to see if everything is OK
before continuing ;-).
