I wonder if we could become a little more focused on discussing things 
like this on the mailing list instead of IRC.

As you may know, I now work full time during the week and I really can't 
dedicate time to being there at that moment as is required to discuss 
things on IRC.

I think as we grow, it is really necessary to discuss 'serious business' 
on the mailing list first - I am able to (and do) dedicate a significant 
amount of my time to DFEY stuff.

I know there are others who can't maintain a constant presence on IRC, 
partly due to work, higher educations and other commitments, but who 
would like to be able to take part in discussion and decision making and 
are currently unable to.

Sorry to sound a bit offbeat... :(
