Linking ATLAS with Octave

 A while back there was discussion about boosting the computation sped of 
Octave by using, I believe, ATLAS libraries. Is there a FAQ explaining howto 
incorporate these libraries in the compilation of Octave? Do inclusion of 
these libraries cause any difficulties in  calling *.m function files?
