I wanted to know that where do we start from.
We were told that we should start studying with the databases but then we are unable to get the details and understand things properly.
We need to know from the basics of the software as to how to start from the initial steps.

The essential idea is to create a web based application, that provokes users to ask questions, and provide answers. A question posed by someone becomes a trigger to answer, and the answer given by some one poses further problems therefore more questions. This
way, we create a platform for the community to interact. Eventually we will also have to develop some algorithms or implement them that will organize and network the questions and answers to create a knowledge base.
The focus is to create a web app that facilitates the interactions among people.
so to begin with you need to get as quickly as possible to understand how to develop a Zope based webapp. do you already know how to install zope, gnowsys, plone etc. If not please learn that on a priority basis. If you need help come to the lab after the college, so that some one will help you. you should be thorough with zpt (zope page templates), python scripting etc.
