I thought the whole of the recent Hutton report was focused on the BBC
being independent and responsible to it's board of govenors - ultimately
appointed by the PM.

I know the plan (suggestion) is Ofcom will become responsible but I
didn't think that has happened yet - I could be wrong the Ofcom website
is unresponsive to my Lynx browser.

So probably the chairman of the board of governors is the ultimate
responsibility.

The article is just journalistic hype, he was probably told to fill a
few inches, and was bored.

If the intent was to wipe out SCO rather than install another zillion
spam trojans, why didn't they use the Trojan part to redirect it when
SCO dropped their A record - why have a trojan part at all?

I don't doubt the author of the virus was well aware of the controversy
regarding SCO, he may even sympathise with those SCO seems to be
attacking. But that doesn't mean many in the community support the
action - we're all to smart to believe that "our enemies enemy is our
friend".
