Please don't exaggerate.  Representing Emacs development as something
that didn't change since the 1980s is factually incorrect and
practically not helpful.

Everyone agrees with general principles, the disagreements begin when
we consider the details.  E.g., "any changes" is definitely a
generalization that is not very useful in practice.
