Hi 

The home for a user is created by a cron
calling /usr/lib/sourceforge/bin/update-user-group-cvs.sh
But is created only if the user is in a project
The user is created immediatly by ldap, so it can be a moment, before
the cron
where the user exist but not his homme
Try to run mannually /usr/lib/sourceforge/bin/update-user-group-cvs.sh
that should create the home
