In which file did you look for "INS_BARO_SENS is obsolete" ? It doesn't 
seems to be in ins_alt_float (neither 5.0 or master).
Also it looks possible to use the baro in v5.0, but you have to define 
INS_BARO_SENS in your airframe file, it is the sensitivity of your 
sensor. I don't use this baro so I don't know the default value but 
maybe you can find it in the example files or in the datasheet.
