I've upped this to 9 in the dependency also. Even Debian stable is on 9
so this isn't much of a restriction.

All the changelog entries do, it's just my name/e-mail I'm afraid so I
don't think I can change that until I get a shorter e-mail address. I
see wrapping of the name lines in in other packages e.g.
