Hi,
It just occurred to me you are using raid. I do not use raid myself but
raid conf (mdam.conf) may have 'preset' your resolution.
To test safely, boot without raid and without invoking raid conf
changing this line...
linux16 /vmlinuz-4.0.4-303.fc22.x86_64
root=UUID=f9576b28-3d0b-425a-9a4b-d371df2216cc ro rd.md=0 rd.md.conf=0
Of course set gfxmode and payload to resolution.
This also didn't work.
There is still some "error" being printed as a result of something in
the grub config that I can't see. Here's my /etc/sysconfig/grub again:
GRUB_TIMEOUT=5
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="$(sed 's, release .*$,,g' /etc/system-release)"
GRUB_DEFAULT=saved
GRUB_DISABLE_SUBMENU=true
GRUB_TERMINAL_OUTPUT=gfxterm
GRUB_TERMINAL=gfxterm
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="rd.md.uuid=bde3f430:15091bce:874aaa0e:e48f341a
rd.md.uuid=921fb4bb:6329d29b:734b1584:7f4d3dba "
GRUB_DISABLE_RECOVERY="true"
GRUB_GFXMODE=800x600x32
GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD=800x600x32
GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=800x600x32
I've also included the resulting grub.cfg (with my manual edits of the
kernel command-line). Anyone else have any ideas?
