3.20 will never be in Buster. Ubuntu sticks with one gpsd version
per each of their releases.

Nothing special. No 9-series features will work.

As I said, can't mix and match versions of gpsd daemon and client.
You have now spend far more time talking about not using git head than
it would take to use git head.
But we are stuck in this loop...
