Unfortunately not. I forgot to log everything with script :-(
And I can't go back to the previous state (this is the downside
of installing from source).
But I have another even older system, that currently serves as
my server until the new one is installed.
I can test it again on that machine as soon as my new server
is installed (which should happen in the next few weeks).

Yes, it was easy. And I even had libxml2 on my system already.
