As long as these `sub-accounts' can be carried across financial
years, this could well do...

We'll have to try these two out with some willing clients.

The BVSC solution had the benefit of an easy interface, coupled
to an underlying spreadsheet structure. Those concerned told me
that this was ideal, but I have to admit to having no knowledge
in this particular field :-/    [1]
