FYI, this is a known issue: if the federate terminates unexpectedly, in
some cases the published objects remain in the RTIG so next simulation
throws an exception.

I'll see if I manage to get some informative output, yet I suspect that
this effect is not tied to FlightGear. Anyway, stopping and re-starting
the RTIG serves as a perfect workaround for those who need one  :-)
