I don't know enough about Windows to comment on it, and the caution Dan
made likely still stands, but there was a mechanism for pointing
bibledit to another data directory in earlier versions. However thinking
that symlinks do the job well, I removed that code in later versions. In
the version that will be in git tomorrow, that mechanism has been
restored. It's workings will be described in the online help, How to...,
under the heading "How to modify the place where Bibledit stores its
data?".
