embunit is just a test framework and normally makes itself available as a 
library that you link against.

You simply need to grab the ft2test stuff from savannah 
(http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?group=freetype), and do make to 
compile/link it all together (assuming that you are on a Linux/Unix box).
