Walter Tautz commented on a discussion: https://gitlab.com/gnuwget/wget2/issues/448#note_298272754 On a different tangent, the --no-clobber option being a misnomer (as noted in wget docs) should perhaps be renamed? to reflect that it will not create multiple versions if combined with other options. By the way, is there a way that wget could checksum a file and download multiple files (useful when folks are creating book drafts) and also modifiy the links in the html files by indicating all versions downloaded previously?
