Hello,

according to http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/traverso Ubuntu Lucid
uses still version 0.49.0 which is very old. I don't know if Ubuntu
Studio has a newer one.

Could you do a

$ aptitude show traverso

and give us the output ? If you still have 0.49.0 look at

http://traverso-daw.org/forum/index.php/topic,212.0.html

to add a ppa with a working version of traverso. This could also help
even if you already have a 0.49.1
