Lua too slow for you?!? Are you sure you've tried it the right way? I mean, making an automated wrapper (tolua, luabind..) may consume considerable overhead.

My wrapper is hand-crafted for best performance & maintainability. The downside: writing it takes some time.. :) Would be interesting to make C++/Lua speed comparisons some day - any good code for that?

My employeer has allowed me to work 1-2 weeks on a ParaGui/Lua wrapper. We'd be interested to use such, if/when available. That'll be above the
1.0.4 (which is stable).
Our first idea was to use Lua too but it was too slow for our needs. So we
built our own script language :).
It's already in productional use.
