Hi. What I understand from dual pwm is that it works to control a specific type of servo. PPM-sum allows to send values for multiple servos over one wire. The gimbal I want to move has a port which reads ppm-sum signal and controls 2 servos. So I specifically need ppm-sum. There is already a ppm-sum decoder in paparazzi which reads a signal from a receiver, this is the opposite, a ppm-sum encoder. On Fri, Jun 13, 2014 at 1:03 AM, karlito <address@hidden> wrote:I am not certain of what you mean by sending 2 channels, but you got that :

Hello. I am interested in output of PPM-sum to drive gimbal. So the idea is to send 2 channels from paparazzi to the gimbal. I see there is some code already but it appears to work only with LPC21 chips. The corresponding file (servos_ppm_hw.c) seems to be missing from the stm32 folder.I couldn't find any documentation on ppm in the actuators page.
Any ideas on how to get this to work?
Thanks
Alonso
