Thanks for the link.  I tried that a couple days ago and I just tried reinstalling it right now, but I still have the same problem... none of the computers or OSes recognize that anything is in the USB port.

What does the flashing LED on the TWOG mean?  It seems like the only two possibilities that haven't ruled out yet are a damaged/defective TWOG or a bad USB-Picoblade adapter.

And yes, I've been stuck on this for a very long time...

I connected the TWOG to my computer by USB and then powered up the TWOG. The LED flashes but the computer doesn't recognize any device.  I tried with two different USB cables but the output from dmesg didn't even mention USB at all.

If the LED is flashing, does that definitely mean that bootloader is loaded properly?  I'm almost ready to just buy a new TWOG...

I've been stuck here for a couple months, so I would really appreciate any help.
