please don't top post btw. Om and om_gtk don't communicate by any
magical other means. All control by all the many different UI's is
done through osc. Have a look at khagan if you want a simple example
in python of communicating with om over osc. The docs on the om site
are a little outdate, it's better to read the ones from svn/cvs.
