Update of bug #59426 (project octave): Status: In Progress => Patch Submitted Release: 6.1.0 => 6.2.0 _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #53: Please find attached a patch for the stable branch that fixes the issue for me on Debian, Qt 5.15. The approach is to reset the window layout to its default position and then restore the previous state and geometry. I can fully explain why this is more robust, but the default layout was always reliably restored after restart and only certain changes in the layout triggered the issue.
