Follow-up Comment #51, bug #59426 (project octave): After testing again on my Debian system I can confirm that restoring correct horizontal widget positions works well with Qt5.13 but fails with Qt5.15. With the latter, I have made the following observation: After resetting the window layout to the default one, you can change the position of the left console widget border or other borders and those will be correctly restored at next start.
