Follow-up Comment #1, bug #57679 (project octave):

Lookinng at qt_es.qm in my build i see a file 146 bytes in size, in the
natively installed ubuntu qt5 qt_es.qm, its 14 bytes.

In my mxe build qt_en.qm is 16 bytes, in ubuntu installed qt5, its 16 bytes.
