Details:

within mxe-octave, there is now libbiosig.mk included, which provides
libbiosig [1]. This, then allows to install mexbiosig [1] using this command:

   pkg install
https://pub.ist.ac.at/~schloegl/biosig/prereleases/mexbiosig-1.9.5.src.tar.gz

It provides the functions mexSLOAD, mexSOPEN, mexSSAVE for reading/importing
and storing a number of different biomedical signal file formats [2]. For
testing the installation, you can run

   mexSLOAD

which will show the help text.

This has been working in the past when I compiled mxe-octave from source
myself. The latest (pre-) release, octave for windows 5.1.90 has libbiosig
included, but installing mexbiosig through pkg fails. The error messages
indicate that libtinyxml which is needed by libbiosig, is not available. It
would be great if this could be fixed before the next release.

I'm the maintainer of biosig/libbiosig/mexbiosig, if there is anything I can
do, please let me know.

  Alois
