Follow-up Comment #26, bug #57553 (project octave):

Matlab behavior and documentation are inconsistent (again).  For textarrow
annotations the "HorizontalAlignment" property default is "left".  But running
the example code from annotation demo #1 and then querying the textarrow
graphics objects I see that it is "right" for every single one.
