Hi Martin
Thanks for your help on monit tool. I am getting more comfortable with
this day by day. Could you tell me following points:-
1. How can I access and use monit admin web page to start and stop a
particular service.
2. How can monit be used to display the uptime of different services.

of the following action arguments; monit will then execute the
action and exit without transforming itself to a daemon.
start all
Start all services listed in the control file and
enable monitoring for them. If the group option is
set, only start and enable monitoring of services in
the named group.

Simply invoking
monit -d 300
will poll all services described in your ~/.monitrc file every 5
minutes.

mode using just 'monit' command:
