[CVS] Resource check + autoconf 2.5 + autoheader support

With the help from the almighty xemacs.... and hauk I was able to
commit the resource check feature and auto[conf 2.5+|header] support
(by Mark).

Heavy deleting (~ -3) and adding (~ +6) has happened, so I think a
clean checkout would be wise.

Oh yeah, if you wanna compile you have to start autogen.sh first.  And
you need autoconf 2.5+... ooops I mean 2.50... I think I also wrote it
during commit. Who carez. (-:
