Follow-up Comment #7, patch #5779 (project lwip):

The problem about all these settings, is they're need more documentation. I
don't think that someone which doesn't read the source code change them "like
this".

Can I suggest to let them configurable using lwipopts.h (even keepalives
values, to give a "system level settings" - waiting to integrate setsockopts
options), but to add more documentation? I see you search someone to add some
documentation. I can help, but my english isn't really perfect. I can provide
"drafts" about "Tunning lwip" and "Multithread with lwip", but I think they
will have to be corrected...

Is it a better solution for you?
