The Raspberry Pi Foundation has released a Debian 64 bit OS beta:

https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=275370

Available for download here:

https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspios_arm64/images/raspios_arm64-2020-05-28/2020-05-27-raspios-buster-arm64.zip

I installed it on a spare RPI 3, then built gpsd. I don't have a spare gps
HAT to test with, so I can only report the build results, however, there
were no apparent errors. (I did install asciidoc and libncurses-dev before
building, as they aren't part of the default distrib).

Thanks for the report, Paul.

Installed on a test RasPi-4B with just SAMBA, SNMP and CPU-temperature monitoring installed. I have a spare GPS/PPS module I can install, so I'll likely test the PPS first. I'll avoid installing gpsd to that I can try the build process I used recently.

Cheers,
David
