The other binaries are in other places, not src/nat/.
The alternative is that a gnunet-service (or manually, symlinks creation 
in those places)
makes the binary/binaries available in one of the paths which are tried 
before resulting in "not found".

I'm not sure if taking an environment variable or for example a gnunet 
config file value for those binaries
would be good. at least it would be more flexible, but that's just my 
2cts on this topic from memory.
