Follow-up Comment #25, task #15713 (project gnuastro): I change the dimension to 10 and also included sorting in the region file making function. The result is that more no of quads are being formed(as expected) but they are still of the triangle shape. What would be the best way to find the middle two stars? Like shall I take the median of all the indexes to be mean? Or should I find a general quantile calculating method and map the required quantiles to the indexes for middle and 0.75 quantile indexes?
