Follow-up Comment #28, task #15713 (project gnuastro): The function to find the farthest stars and assigning them as A and B is done and pushed on gitlab <https://gitlab.com/sachinkumarsingh092/gnuastro-matching-fits-nohealpix>. Also, the result seems much better than before. This function will assign the indexes of stars and hence I think instead of using the make_hash function in the make_quad function we shall use make_hash function in this function and return the final hash from here(we can change its name to better suit its function later on). Fo now in the image the function properly assigns the two farthest stars indexes of A and B and the other 2 as C and D which satisfy the Cx<=Dx and Cx+Dx<=1 condition:-) (file #49593) _______________________________________________________ Additional Item Attachment: File name: Screenshot from 2020-08-01 05-41-55.png Size:25 KB <https://file.savannah.gnu.org/file/Screenshot from 2020-08-01 05-41-55.png?file_id=49593> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?15713> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
