1.2.3 installed and 1.3 not installed -> 1.3 works
1.2.3 installed and 1.3 also installed -> 1.3 crash
1.2.3 installed and 1.3 also installed -> 1.3 crash when running
uninstalled.

So, as soon as 1.3 is installed it crashes, no matter
if i run the version in /usr/local or the binary
./gnome-commander in the source tree.

Now i am going to try your patch...
