Yeah, it should probably be translated to English first.
I don't know the context, and those two translations can be very
appropriate, too.
A literal translation would be: "I wonder if chess figures are
resistant to laser?"
or "Are chess figures immune to laser?"
Obviously it is a hint on how to solve the level (or a false lead?). I
havn't played Enigma in a while, so I'm not sure what laser does to
chess figures.
However it could well be possible to have to use a knight/jumper to
block a lasers pathway you can't reach otherwise or something like
that.
