*Should* is a weasel word that should (!) generally
be avoided in technical doc (including user guides).
Either say "must" (e.g. if we raise an error otherwise)
or say that we "recommend"... (And extra points for
saying _why_ it's recommended, something that users
generally deserve to understand.)
