There's X displays -- broadband is fast enough these days to
make uncompressed X connections useable; and there are also
compressed X extensions that reduce the bandwidth requirements
Suddenly we're back to an early eighties university Sparc lab,
only the machines aren't Sparcs and instead of thinwire there's
thousands of miles of fiber.
