Gub for Darwin has done a big step in the right direction. Everything compiles and I get an OSX App bundle (a single container file which contains anything Denemo needs)

Is it x windows based or dies it use gtk-aqua? I might be able to test this out sometime later on. I teach at two schools that have macs. I don't think I will be able to install anything systemwide but I can probably do a local installation in the users home folder.

which actually tries to start. But it has path problems, too. But I only work on this when I get bored because its nearly impossible to test for me, after all I have no Mac OSX version for myself :) Next step here would be to manually rearrange and copy the files to get a working setup and then either insert a few #IFDEF in Denemo or tweak the gub installer to copy and move the files around.

Nils has asked that we do it by freezing the master source code (so

mean the gub can work from master, reducing the chances of error.
If there are no objections I suggest we freeze on Sunday and test

Nils, can you change the default installation directory on Windows
from
GNU_Denemo to Denemo?
